It's time to declare yourself for Fall Ranchfest 2006. If you have a plan to be here next month, let us know as soon as possible. We will be glad to help you with your plans. Some folks will be camping on the land, and you are welcome to do that, or there are nearby motels. The Texas Ranger Motel in Santa Anna is nice, but only has a few rooms, so you will need to book soon if you plan on staying there. There is also a nice, inexpensive Budget Motel in Coleman. If you plan on camping on the land in a tent or camper, we need to know fairly soon.

I don't know what project we will be working on, but it looks like we might be doing a barn raising for Brother David. Ranchfest is October 5th thru 14th, 2006. I will be posting (Lord Willing) some more info on what to bring, what to expect, and on local facilities, etc. sometime this week.

History doesn't mean anything in weather, but last year the highs during this week were between the mid 70's to 90, and the lows were from 50 - 70. I can't translate that into Canuck, but y'all may be able to. You will need bug spray, boots, chairs, and some food items.
